Construction of the new bridge crossing Flat River is finished in the Industrial Park providing a new preferred truck route from Marty Drive and Taylor Avenue to St. Joe Drive intersection and Parkway Drive interchange. The road officially opened to traffic at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 22nd.

Community Highlights:

Mineral Area College offers Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees to students throughout the area. The college offers student housing. Central Methodist University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis offer other degrees at the M.A.C. campus.

The Missouri Mines Historic Site lies alongside scenic St. Joe State Park in the City of Park Hills. The park offers motorcycle riding trails, bicycle and equestrian trails along with camping, swimming and hiking opportunities.
