Softball Leagues
Leagues are offered for Summer and Fall, and start in April. The specific leagues are scheduled:

T-Ball and Youth Baseball Leagues
T-Ball league is for children ages 4-5 and it provides a lot of fun! Children must be four by June 1st and cannot be six before July 1st. Boys and girls are placed on teams together and provided a team shirt and cap. Batting is off a tee or coach pitch. This free activity is scheduled from May through June each year, and games will be on Mondays or Tuesday evenings. To sign children up for T-Ball, parents obtain a registration form here or at City Hall during the months of March and April. No Score is kept at these games so everyone is a winner!
Youth baseball league is for children ages 6-8. Girls and boys play together. Batting is coach pitch with 3 outs per inning. The score is kept in this league. Games are Monday or Thursday evenings May through July. The season is six games plus an end of the season, single elimination tournament. Shirt and cap provided. Children cannot be nine before May 15th.
T-Ball and Youth Baseball Schedule
Baseball
The Sports Complex is the home field for Central High School and several Mineral Area Baseball Association Baseball Teams. Ages range from 7 to 18. Each team is independently coached and sponsored. Practice begins in April. Watch the local media sources for time and tryout information.
Swimming Pool
The large 50' x 150' pool features two one-meter diving boards and a slide. Hours are noon to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1:00 p.m.
to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is $1.00 per person. Private parties may be scheduled from 5:30-7:30 and 7:45-9:45 p.m. for a fee of $60.00
(large parties over 100 people will need an additional lifeguard, add $15). Private parties can be scheduled on the first business day in April.

Soccer
Haney Park, along Crane Street, offers four fields where Kindergarten through eighth-graders play city recreational league soccer from late August to early October. League sign-up begins in May and is open until mid-August. Enrollment forms for soccer are available at City Hall and on the Park Hills Parks and Recreation Department Facebook page.
Christmas Celebration Parade
On the first Thursday of December, the Chamber of Commerce and the City will host a community Christmas celebration which commences with a Parade which begins in the Leadington Plaza and ends at the Park Hills Sports Complex. The program will consist of vendor booths, games and activiteis, entertainment and the arrival of Santa. He will hear children's wish-lists and pose for pictures. (Bring your camera.) Hot chocolate & cookies will be served. Please dress warmly.
City Facts
The city was formed through an unique four-way merger, allowed by the Missouri legislature in January 1994. The residents of Flat River, Elvins, Esther and the village of Rivermines voted for consolidation into the new city of Park Hills to strengthen economic development.
United States Marine and WWII Medal of Honor recipient Darrell S. Cole was born July 20, 1920 in Flat River (now part of Park Hills), Missouri. He attended high school in Esther, Missouri (now part of Park Hills) graduating in 1938. The second USS Cole (DDG-67), an Arleigh Burke-class Aegis-equipped guided missile destroyer was named for Sergeant Cole.
